Mb 2: Week 1

I signed up for marine biology two for many reasons. I signed up because I learned so much last year and had a good time on the trip. I look forward to learning more this summer and going on another amazing trip with my class. This week started by learning about coral which included making a psa video about a specific threat to coral reefs. Next we researched mangroves and taught the marine biology one class about them so that both classes would do well on the quiz. The next day we wrote a letter about the importances of reefs and why transplantation is a beneficial process. Then we capped the week off by learning about the Polymerase Chain Reaction in the class and in the lab.
